Fantastic way of loosing alot of your fan base. Leaving you previous game unfinished, to divert your time and effort into making this. Which judging by its lack of content, appears to be nothing short of a cash grab. Try kickstarter for your next scam
$5 for a game in its infancy when the game it will supposedly be integrated into is free...and unfinished. Seems like a bad business model to me, and judging from a lot of other comments, most agree. Would have given this game a shot, but think I'll pass. Best of luck.
I believe this is meant to in many ways standalone at first but integrate into awakening? And I can clearly see how, obviously not exactly how but it doesn't take a genius to see the setting is... The purple orchid in the awakening... A place explicitly mentioned to have further development and clearly far more to it from its appearance as well. I'm happy just to have slim back. And it's $5, we'll all live, this isn't blizzard demanding $125 for an epic pre release ultra pack, it's meant to support a developer who... Needs our support? He can't start from scratch and hope one day someone will pay for his free games, he needs capital to grow and continue to make these, as well as incentive. Of course I'm sure reasonable people could debate some of that decently but I think creators should be paid for working and allowing us to play it, like every other creator 🫠 keep it up Slim, I was ecstatic to see you'd returned in the first place
Would have preferred you put out quicker updates for The Awakening instead of diverting time and effort into another project instead of finishing The Awakening first (which I have paid for). Sorry but I won’t be playing this.
Question... if I purchase this game. Will you keep updating this page? Or will I have to pay for the new update? I would rather pay upfront to be honest....
When I saw that SLim had a new game, I immediately bought it. Awakening is a genuinely good game, and SLim also has probably the best Renpy tutorials on YouTube.
Unfortunately, upon loading the game, I was hit with AI-generated images.
It's honestly depressing to see a talented developer stoop to such lows. There was no mention of AI on the Itch store page or in the game's tags. If there were, I wouldn't have purchased the game.
I have already contacted Itch support for a refund.
Hopefully, SLim will come to their senses and remove the awful AI.
EDIT: I got my refund, which is awesome. It just baffles me that SLim couldn't have just put one of the many cute girls in the game in a suit and have her be in varying stages of distress for the difficulty images instead of resorting to art theft. And as for the gameplay itself. It's interesting? It's a lot of work to get a 4 second animation loop with no sound effects and no dialogue. For a lewd game, it's not very lewd at all. You can't even get a chub from it.

Absolutely would be willing to give this game a try after The Awakening is actually completed. Perhaps focus on finishing that project first?
