So, getting the updated version will fix the Juliet and doctor contacts not showing up I'm guessing? Also, is he still working on the game? I enjoy playing it and hope it doesn't just end. Thanks for any input anyone can provide.
I just finished TheAwakening-0.4.free-pc. and I loved the game very much. The graphics are phantastic and very detailed. Now I wonder if I should invest $5 and get The Awakening 0.4.3b PC . Has anyone played that version.

At first i was like meh...just another random AVN but oh boy this game really opens up after a while! Great story,animations,mini-games,free-roam,hidden stuff,...it has a lot going on. Very nice game sir, please keep up the good work.
Is there a way to just ditch the Academy section? Because it is fucking painful. I love the characters and the story but I hate everything to do with the Academy. It is insanely poorly written compared to everything else. 20 year olds don't have bullies at school. This seems like a storyline written for a 16 year old. No 20 year old is going to the bathroom because of something JIm said. No one. It's absurd.
In a game with fairies and sex magic the Academy is the least believable part of it. It makes no sense what so every. It doesn't fit. It doesn't accomplish anything except for making me use the Skip button. I have been to academies. This place is madness. Qanon ravings make more sense than the Academy does. They give you one class, no supplies or supply lists, and expect you to graduate with some degree that you didn't choose in a year? Hogwarts makes more sense as a school than this.
The difference in writing between the rest of this game and everything to do with the Academy is absolutely baffling. Did someone else write that section? Did you write this section in a peyote filled trance? Did an AI write it?
This is out of genuine frustration because I love the rest of the game and the characters. So this part just blindsided me with weird railroaded decisions and just nonsensical structure and characters.
Any update, or info about date of release new version?

not seeing the whole text line irritates me a lot, could you maybe set the cps to infinity when a speed of 10 is selected? replacing the function in init.rpy with somthing like this should work

in julietStory1.rpy a text message from her is received (line 491) but her contact not unlocked. seems to be a general issue, the governing variable (unlockJulietPhone) is only set in a label called afterAndroidQuickstart (extraScripts.rpy), something that sounds like a mobile-specific renpy-internal thingy?
and a lot of [m] should be replaced with [m2] or [m1], reading dialogue where someone is called as "name (relationship)" is awkward ;)
Why are people so rude in this comment section? are people actually complaining? I saw one complaining about paying 5 bucks? It's literally optional and why wouldn't you wanna support a fellow creator? I think this is a really good NSFW game compared to some others. There are some glitches and inconsistencies in the audio and voicelines but honestly it's really good. Keep doing your thing!
I'm definitely a moocher when it comes to this site. I do hate it when a story I was into suddenly gets paywalled. That said there is absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to get paid for your work. I mean I love all the freebies on this site but $5 is roughly the tip for a dinner out. If you don't want to pay that you can wait for the next update and usually the previous one suddenly is free for the moochers like me. And I agree, this is a pretty good quality NSFW game. I really enjoyed the...um...story... Keep up the great work creator.

This game doesnt launch correctly on windows. The process starts but no window shows and cpu usage for that process sits at 0.

Just curious, I have your original versions of the awakening. Basically the 0.3.3 pc version , the halloween special and the prologue which is the original work I downloaded from itch.io. The new version you released now 0.4.3 has everything all in one package?
yes, the prologue got completely redone and combined with the ongoing game and the halloween special has also been integrated recently.

It's not Itch, surely. It's you. You decided to put a minimum of $5 on version 0.4.3b, and it's you who is going to decide if you're going to charge for the next update! I don't see how Itch has anything to do with that at all!
no, you misunderstood me. I'm just not sure if I set it up correctly so that you don't have to pay 5$ each time, because I've never done this. And I also don't see an option where I would have to set it, I'm gonna do some research on that.
I want it to be that you get the game and some updates before you have to pay again. or maybe not, I might keep it a one time payment. I'm not trying to scam people or anything if you're worried about that.
